Our industry leading training program includes a system of levels that the horses must work through. For this very public job, in our experience, the first step is scouting horses that naturally have a suitable personality and aptitude for this work.

We provide a safe space that allows for the horse to become the very best horse they can be. This naturally leads the horse to a trusting connection with the trainer. In a controlled environment (round pen, ring, farm) we expose them to as much as possible before we hook them to a vehicle. On our working farm, we have tractors and vehicles moving all day, so they are exposed to A LOT of movement daily. 

Our key messaging to all our horses is trust. By the time they reach downtown they are polished with many miles within the quieter areas of Brentwood Bay and the farm. Our mindful training program is never ending; both horse and driver are always learning.
