DEMEANOUR MATTERS

Our equine partners are all draft horses, known for their strength and calm demeanor. The most common breeds that we have are Percherons, Clydesdales and Belgians, all of which are ancient breeds that have been bred for pulling over many hundreds of years. Much like some dog breeds, these horses have been bred to have a job and feel naturally compelled to work and bond with us humans. 

A common question we receive is, do they like their job? The answer is, our horses don’t just like their job, they LOVE it! Every morning they line up at the gate, ready for work and a visit with their human partners. While they are at work, they display relaxed body language (low head, soft eye and cocked foot) and are always eager to greet passers by.
